Finished this one a couple of weeks ago, and have finally got around to posting. It's titled Make Meaning and is 30"x33" acrylic on canvas.
It's both a nod towards existentialist thought, specifically Jean-Paul Sartre's idea that "existence precedes essence" - that we as humans define own essence through our actions. And also influenced by Guy Kawasaki's talk on The Art of the Start, where he describes the desire to 'Make Meaning' as an important driver for successful startups.
It's already sold, but if you're interested in its 'sister' painting, I'm working on it at the moment. Pics to come soon.

Finished at last, it's quite a sight! I'm so happy to have this finally completed.
This is the fourth painting in the Stations & Balance series, it's 40x30" (101x76cm) oil on canvas.
I'll take a proper photo of the whole thing once it's dry enough to move :-)

Despite the massive storm here last night, painting No. 4 in the Stations and Balance series survived and is ready for a bit more work. It's coming along nicely, I'm very pleased to say.
