<p>I&#8217;m finding that strong horizons are creeping into my photographic work – they&#8217;ve been a feature of my paintings for some time. Something about the future, looking out, forward.</p>
<p>We live between here and the horizon. It&#8217;s always there. Pulling our thoughts out into the distance.</p>

<p>Onions shot through rice paper. No abstract painting added this time, tones seemed to want to be left to themselves.</p>
<p>The wooden dish was made by my late grandfather, William Campbell.<br />
It&#8217;s an honor to incorporate his work into my own.</p>
<p>This has proofed beautifully as a 12&#8243;x12&#8243; C-type photo print. Very pleased.</p>
